Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD Multi-Jet Sportwagon. Finished in Ivory Mist metallic
with grey cloth upholstery. Getting very difficult to find really lovely
examples so you will like this one. Its the economical 1.9 turbo diesel unit
with multi-point fuel injection and 150 bhp and a six speed gearbox. It has
covered a total of 56,000 miles and has a full service history. Lovely car to
look at and drive.
HISTORY Supplied new by
Platts Alfa Romeo and registered new on 28/04/05 to its first owner. it then
passed to its registered keeper on 14/07/06. There is a fully stamped
service book and it is stamped as follows;
CONDITION This car
is in really is of the highest calibre you will find. It has clearly been a
well cared for car and is a credit to its previous owner. Ivory mist looks
fantastic especially with a little sun on it. Inside is also in lovely
condition. The upholstery is in beautiful condition as are the carpets and
plastics. Clearly it has not been used and abused as so many of these
Sportwagons are. We have had this car professionally cleaned and detailed.
DRIVE Lots of plus
points with the drive of this car. The engine is powerful with a linear
delivery right through the rev range. What makes it really perform is the
torque, making hills and overtaking easy. Handling is as good as the saloon
version and it is comfortable on journeys. Being the estate it has a very
generous luggage space but it still retains stunning lines - you never feel as
though you are driving a Swedish box. True to its name and design, its still
very much a Alfa Romeo to drive.
